BANGUED, Abra,July 10(PIA) -- The Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) in Abra headed by Provincial Director Arell F. Bañez, issued a consumer alert to Overseas Filipino Workers (OFWs) and their dependents to be extra cautious in handling or sending their balikbayan boxes.
The consumer alert was issued after a series of complaints against some freight forwarders that have failed to deliver to the rightful consignees of balikbayan boxes from overseas.
